OBGYN/Midwifes
An OB-GYN, or obstetrician-gynecologist, is a doctor who specializes in women’s health, including menstruation, childbirth, and menopause. An obstetrician specializes in the care of a pregnant woman and her unborn child. They are trained to handle potential complications or situations that may happen during pregnancy and during the birthing process. A midwife is a trained health professional who helps women with typical pregnancies during labor, delivery, and after the birth of their babies. Midwives may deliver babies at birthing centers or at home, but most can also deliver babies at a hospital.
